Now, after their sailing adventure and all that had followed - plus a few other chance meetings here and there that had been friendly - that was where Della was, and stories were finally being exchanged.
"...But eventually we got my brother back to his normal size. It was pretty funny when he was tiny and I spilled tea on him, though," Della added in a conspiratorial whisper. "I mean, I thought so. He didn't. It was an accident, whatever, it was fine."
She paused a moment to take a bite of one of the cookies she'd brought along to share, then asked, "Hey, Bridge, you got any siblings back home?"
